3. Tulsi leaves are packed with antioxidants that alleviate oxidative stress and have essential oils that help lower blood sugar levels in the body. Sugar levels can be kept in check by drinking a glass of water with 10 Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves, 10 Neem (Azadirachtha indica) leaves and 10 Belpatras (Aegle marmelos) leaves early in the morning on an empty stomach.
