They are just as nervous about making a mistake as you are. To remedy this dilemma all you have to do is avoid being self-aware. Focus on enjoying dancing. This will take your mind off yourself.

Make sure that your date will have a wonderful time with you. Don’t leave her while you dance. If you don’t know how to dance, let him know so he can guide you.

Tip #2 Dance fast

Fast dancing is something you should get familiar with. This is easy to do. All you need to do is have a good time. However, you must make sure that you dance to the music. Be confident in your movements.

Tip #3: Feel the music

Relax first before hitting the dance floor. Enjoy the atmosphere of your surroundings. Take your time to do this. The dance floor is always there waiting for you.

When you’re ready, it’s time to head to the dance floor with your partner. If you’re still undecided, stay in your chair and feel the rhythm. Move or sway your body to the music while sitting. If you like the music they play, then it’s time to try your dance moves on the dance floor.

Tip #4 On the dance floor

Have your own little space where you can perform your dance moves. If you’re nervous, ask your friends to join you. Or you can dance with your date face to face.

There’s no need to come up with exclusive dance moves just to have fun on the dance floor. Simple dance moves will suffice. You can step your right foot out and then in. Do the same with your left foot. Then move faster once you get the hang of it.

Let your body sway to the music. Let him relax and dance to the rhythm.

Follow what others are doing. Or maybe you can do that dance move you’ve seen in the videos.

Tip #5 Slow dance

be in position

Girls will put their hands on the boy’s shoulder or around his neck. Boys will wrap their hands around the girl’s waist or hips.

Just sway back and forth as long as it’s in tune with the music. Don’t touch your partner inappropriately. Make sure you don’t go beyond the limits while dancing.

Tip #6. Thank your partner.

Even if there are a number of hiccups during the slow dance, it’s still polite to thank your partner after the dance. This will make prom a truly memorable moment for both of you.
