The nine best Xbox 360 games of 2007

With a one-year lead on Wii and PS3, the Xbox 360 ended up having a much better selection of games available. It was a wild year for Xbox 360 with many big name titles and exclusive titles. Like any year, disappointments spread everywhere. In addition to the Guitar Hero and Rock Band guarantee, this list should bring you some surprises.

9. The orange box

There really is no other bundle like this for Xbox 360. Five hit games for $ 60 and not just five games. There is one of the best shooting games of all time, accompanied by its two expansion packs, an eccentric multiplayer game and a new puzzle game. I personally called it “Shooters’ Delight”.

8. Eternal Sonata

A wildly innovative story and one of the best combat systems ever put into an RPG. RPGs live or dive into their stories and Eternal Sonata has one that is delightfully imaginative. A real-time combat system helps keep things new, rather than your standard turn-based combat like most RPGs on the Xbox 360. It’s a rather strange dream, Eternal Sonata will continue to enjoy your game from start to end.

7. Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock

Whenever a new developer enters an already established franchise, there are always concerns. Neversoft does it well and seems to continue the tried and true formula previously established by Harmonix. A fantastic soundtrack helps elevate this game a bit above its previous installments. Rock on aspiring guitarists, rock on.

6. Forza Motorsport 2

An unconditional racer who does it well and has to do with cars. Dazzling graphics, perfect sounds, and great customization options. You won’t find a better simulator for Xbox 360, Gran Turismo couldn’t even have done that well. A wonderful and lasting appeal, if you are a car lover who wants a true to life racer then this game is for you.

5. Halo 3

The epic saga continues with Halo 3, the highly anticipated third chapter in a highly successful series. This year there was even more pressure on Halo to use the Xbox 360. Halo 3 builds on everything that has made past games such huge successes. With new technical and gaming advances, in addition to increasing the level of online gaming. One of the most complete games, Halo 3 is highly recommended, just make sure to buy your Xbox Live subscription.

4. Mass Effect

When legendary developers Bioware (creators of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) announce that they are releasing a new RPG, you mark it on your calendar. Bioware once again proved its worth and made another classic RPG. Mass Effect is a fantastic role-playing game with cinematic narratives and an innovative third-person shooter combat system. You feel like you are really playing the role and your decisions make a difference in the overall story. Simply put, Mass Effect is a must-play game.

3. Assassin’s Creed

The same developers who brought the legends Prince of Persia and Tom Clancy’s Splint Cell, bring you a new franchise with even more complex action. One of the most anticipated games on the list of the nine best Xbox 360 games of 2007. Assassin’s Creed is a pseudo stealth action title that is sure not to disappoint. The story will get boring for you, but your action will not.

2. Rock band

Grab Guitar Hero, add a mic and drums, and then add a chance to be rock stars with 2 or 3 of your friends. Playing all day doesn’t seem so antisocial when you’re rocking out with your friends. Rock Band takes music gaming to a whole new level and is the ultimate party game for Xbox 360, a surefire hit for anyone.

1. BioShock

BioShock is the highest rated game on this year’s list of the top nine Xbox 360 games of 2007. A first person shooter game that makes you think. It’s arguably one of the best graphic games made to date and such a good story that it’s unheard of for a first-person shooter. Irrational achieved near perfection in every aspect of this game.
