The things around us are a great gift to us in the area of ​​weight loss and obesity. It has contributed to the accumulation of calories and fat in our body. Some of the things are;

1. AVAILABILITY OF VARIETIES OF FOOD; With the current trend in the agricultural sector, the availability of food has become the other of the day. In the store, there is a dazzling array of breads, cereals, canned goods, frozen foods, and many other options to choose from. With these options, it is difficult to make the healthiest choice, sometimes we find it difficult to stick strictly to diet plans, due to the temptations of these options.

2. AVAILABILITY OF AUTOMOBILES; We are addicted to cars. With the increasing availability of cars, we have formed the habit of getting around in cars instead of walking. We no longer walk, even a few distances away from home, we go to churches, school, shopping and work by car. Walking is already obsolete in our societies today, inadequate safety is another contributing factor to car addiction. Walking, which helps reduce the risk of heart disease and also helps maintain a healthy weight, is now a lost art.

3. WE SPEND A LOT OF TIME SITTING DOWN; With the production of more sophisticated electronics, we tend to spend more time watching TV, playing video games, and working on the computer, which will result in more calories leading to weight gain.

4. WE ARE BUSY; With many activities at hand, we no longer worry about food preparation in our various homes. Now we have become a sharp society. We place a lot of faith in less nutritious and calorically dense foods. We now rely heavily on fast food restaurants for high-fat, calorie-dense meals. Imagine a family that is totally dependent on fast food, what do you expect? Your daily intake of calories and fat will be high. What prevents us from planning the time to prepare a nutritious meal for our families, in order to maintain a normal weight.

We can see that the environment is a major contributing factor to how we gain weight. If we can accept walking, it will help us burn fat and the caloric content of the body, so that we can be that intelligent person that we appear to be.
